Green River NWTF awards scholarship to Kristin Estes Photo, Kristin Estes, Ricky Burris, with this story By Kirby Hancock Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Green River Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation recently awarded a $400 scholarship to Western Kentucky University freshman Kristin Estes. Ricky Burris, representing the National Wild Turkey Federation Green River Chapter presente the check to Kristin. Kristin is a 2007 graduate of Adair County High School. She is majoring in elementary education. For more information on scholarships offered by the National Wild Turkey Federation, visit www.nwtf.org. The local chapter awards a scholarship to a graduating senior each year. This program is one of the many ways the the local federation gives back to the community.
