Gov. Fletcher sends $450,00 for Adair CR resurfacing

Work could begin as early as this week, CJE Melton's office says. Road list follows.

"Governor Fletcher has generously given Adair County money to resurface the nine Adair County Roads," CJE Ann Melton said today after receiving the MOA--Memorandum of Agreement--to proceed with the projects.

"The money couldn't have come at a better time," she said. "we needed to get the work done, and it can be done quickly, if the good paving weather continues."I'm just happy the Governor knows we're here," Judge Melton said. "For two many years nobody in Frankfort knew Adair County existed."


Work on the repaving could begin as early as this week, Lisa Lee, Administrative Assistant in the Judge's office said.

Judge Melton said she was happy that the work be be done now, before bad weather begins.

  • CR494 - Woolridge Road
A total of $450,000 in state reimbursable funds has been approved by the Department for this Project.
