The owner of the hay, Jimmy Moss. said that he noticed the load had caught fire and he stopped and unhooked the trailer and moved it a safe distance away. The Columbia Fire Department was summoned to the scene and arrived at 12:12pmNoonCT, Saturday, September 29, 2007.It took 15 firemen on the scene for approximately two hours to subdue the fire.
