Trap shoot for 2008 Adair Crusade raises nearly $2,000 Event demonstrates again the giving hearts of Adair Countians and why Columbia is "A Great Place to Call Home." $1,923 raised for the 2008 Adair County Crusade for Children. Winners of corn toss tournament give winnings back to crusade. It was a great day for kids, for a fundraiser where every dollar raised in Adair County is returned in the form of grants to help Adair County kids! Three photos accompany this story By Donald Hare Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Adair Co Fire Dept. is proud to report that we raised a total of $1,923.00 for the 2008 Adair County Crusade for Children at the trap shoot and corn toss tournament held at the Adair County Sportsman's Lake today, Saturday, September 29, 2007. There were several big winners today, including the following:
Pepsi of Lebanon, Kerns Bakery, IGA Food Store, Home City ICE, Adair Co Sportsmans Club, Adair Co Cattlemens Association, Cowboy Charcoal, Paul Burton, Rexs Cycle Shop, Also: Harrison and Shirley Moss, Newcomb Oil Co., Valeria Bault, Steve Phillips, Adair Automotive NAPA, United Citizens Bank of Southern KY, Franklin Nissan, Don's Lumber, Pyles Excavating, Wall Heating and Cooling, Also: M & W Milling, Adair County Farm Bureau, Columbia Dairy Dip, Stotts-Phelps-Mcqueary Funeral Home, Gaddie Shamrock, Prescription Shoppe, Key Mortgage Company, Reed Brothers Insurance, Central Kentucky Realty and Auction Co, Also: Janella F.
