Our exceptional education art class is raising funds to do just that, visit the Louisville Zoo. But, we cant get there without you and time is running out. Our trip is planned for the third week of October. Brody is just one member of the class of special needs students at ACHS who are learning to express themselves through the arts with the help of regular education students acting as peer art tutors. The class offers a variety of art experiences as well as the much needed opportunity for the exceptional education students to interact with high school peers. Additionally, the art department has a vision to help not only Brody but all students increase their exposure to the arts to provide experiences that will enrich their lives. We endeavor to provide firsthand working experiences with artists as well as to provide exposure through field trips to museums, theatre, and other art venues.Brody is raising funds at school, but, he cant do it alone.
