Obituary: Justin Ramsey, 17

Justin Ramsey was active in Seven Springs Ministries, Jesus Jam in Breeding, KY, and was a sophomore at Campbellsville University

Justin Ramsey, 17, of 490 Rowetown Road, Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 8:01pm at the University of Louisville Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident on September 9, 2007, on Wheeler Hill in Adair County.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 22, at 2:00pmCT, at Seven Springs Ministries Cemetery with Tim Petrey officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be after 5:00pmCT, Friday, September 21, 2007, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.



Survivors include the following:
  • His parents: Kenneth and De'Borah Rogers Ramsey, Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Matthew Ramsey, Columbia, KY, and Kenneth Ramsey II, Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Angel Ramsey, Bowling Green, KY

  • His grandmothers: Martha Rogers, Hopkinsville, KY; and Charlotte Ramsey, Michigan

  • His adopted family: Tim and Cathy Petrey, Garnett "Uncle Pete" Petrey, and Doris and Al Carter.
Justin Ramsey was a staff member and very active in the Seven Springs Ministries and Jesus Jam in Breeding and was a sophomore at Campbellsville University.
