Lauren wins as individual; but team drops match Adair County Girls' Golf team goes to Danville's Old Bridge Country Club on Monday for Regional Tournament. Link below. By Kimberly Goodin ColumbiaMagazine.com story Lauren Goodin provided a bright spot in an otherwise tough day for the Adair County Girls' Golf Team. She did it in a big way, firing a 41, to gain a 7 stroke margin over her Clinton County opponent. The Adair Girls' Golf Team lost to Clinton County, dropping the team's match record to 11-7. Adair County had defeated Clinton County earlier in the season by 9 shots. Adair County shot a 202 while Clinton fired a 169, at the Mountain View Country Club site. Lauren Goodin was the only golfer to win her individual match with a 41, winning by 7 strokes. Natalie Sneed shot a 47, Ashley Goodin a 53, Natalie Curry a 61, Emilee Royse 62, Abby Royse 68. The last regular season match for the girls will be Thursday, September 20th at Pinewood against Cumberland County. Tee time will be around 3:30 or 3:45pmCT. The Regional Tournament is Monday, September 24th at Old Bridge Country Club in Danville.
