2007-2008 schedule is underway; after watercolor exhibit, Julie Jack work will be displayed

By Travis Smith

Adair County residents will have two opportunities to view some of the top watercolor paintings over the next two months at Lindsey Wilson College.

Through October 1, 2007, the Kentucky Watercolor Society's 2006-07 Aqueous Traveling Exhibit is on display in the Lindsey Wilson Lucretia C. Begley Art Gallery.

Then a month later, the 2007-08 Aqueous Exhibit will be on display from November 2-25 in the Begley Gallery.

"It is a privilege to host The Kentucky Watercolor Society Traveling exhibits," said Lindsey Wilson Professor of Art Timothy W. Smith. "In addition to Kentucky, artists represented in this juried show span the nation, including New York, Florida, Colorado and California. It is a show on par with the best of any university gallery anywhere, and we are excited to present this annual exhibit to our community."
