Edward and Linda Kessler celebrated 40th wedding anniversary EEdward and Linda Kessler celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Thursday, September 6, 2007at the Harbor Restaurant at Lees Ford Mariana at Burnside, KY. The event was a surprise dinner party hosted by their children and attended by 40 friends and family members. The couple renewed their wedding vows on this evening with Bro. Dean Roach officiating. On September 9, 1967 Edward and Linda were married in Celina, TN at the Celina Church of Christ by Bro. Cheatham. Jerry and Shelia Keltner were the witnesses at the ceremony. Edward, the son of Garnett and Geneva Kessler, and Linda, the daughter of Geraldine Grant and Herschel Grant, have three sons. They are Eddie, Kevin and Timothy Kessler. Eddie and Kevin, along with their uncle, Donald Kessler are partners in Kessler Mortgage Co. in Columbia KY. Timothy is a computer programmer for Savi Technology in Lexington KY. Edward and Linda have been blessed with six grandchildren. Kevin and Arlinda (Rainey) have four children Jera, Kyla, and Keaton Kessler and Jeremy Phillips. Timothy and Lori (Griffith) of Richmond KY have two children, Alexis and Colin. Edward Kessler has been a dairy farmer for 40 years and operates Kessler Jerseys. Linda Kessler has worked as a math instructor at Lindsey Wilson College for 17 years. The couple has resided in the Portland community of Adair County for 40 years.
