Eligible bachelors all wed Barnetts Creek girls Frank Dickerson sent a great photo from almost 60 years ago, which he entitled, "Eligible Bachelors at Neatsville Bridge, about 1948-1949?" The three eligible bachelors in the photo are Leemon Goodin, who married Mildred Scott, of Barnett's Creek, George Frank Hagy (now deceased), who married Frank Dickerson's sister, Rose Dickerson, also of Barnett's Creek; and "L.J," Littleton J. Goode (now deceased), who married Frank Dickerson's next door neighbor, Mary Frances Martin, Barnett's Creek. Mr. Dickerson, who now llives in San Mateo, CA, writes that the photo is from the collection of B.J. Hagy, son of George Frank Hagy, his late brother-in-law. The photo accompanies this story.
