VFW District Eight Holds Family Day District Meeting Photographs will accompany this story Columbia VFW Post 6097, along with Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6097, hosted their quarterly district meeting this past Sunday, August 12, at the VFW building. In attendance were VFW State Surgeon Claud Wyatt, VFW District 8 Commander John Rigney, Ladies Auxiliary State President Joan Penney and Ladies Auxiliary District 8 President Sandra Bolin. Members and their families totaling approximately 120 people attended the event. The group enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by the post and the auxiliary.
