Check in often this weekend: CM will be a busy place All the usual features plus two which should go in the history books. One, an unforgettable man and his dog story by Geniece Marcum, and Two, a biographical account of raising Julia Ann Pickett in Downtown Columbia in one of its heydays. And maybe we'll cover the big time $$$$$ Adair SAR Cornhole tournament, which may change life as we know it in Adair County, forever. This has been a busy week at ColumbiaMagazine.com. So busy, with meetings, school openings, and all the other excitement, that we're way behind on some posts, and we apologize. But there will be some fast catching up Saturday and Sunday. This weekend, things will go faster, we hope. We'll be netcasting from Low Below Beautiful Downtown Columbia, KY, carrying the latest breaking news, as usual, but more. Dog lover Geneice Marcum has written a story about man and his pet which we think will be as immortal as anything written by that other Kentuckian, George Vest. It will be posted this weekend, along with photographs. And I have written down what Julia Ann Pickett has told me about growing up in downtown Columbia and about that birthday party on May 29, 1951. I don't think I've ever enjoyed recording anything more. Please watch for it. Weekend traffic on ColumbiaMagazine.com has been growing at remarkable rate.
