Obituary: Faye Keltner, 73, member Tarters Chapel UMC

Faye Keltner was a member of a large, respected Milltown area family. She had worked as a nurses aid at Greenhill Manor in Greensburg

Faye Keltner, 73, a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of the Milltown Community passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 9:45pm at Summit Manor.

The funeral service will be Sunday, August 19, 2007, at 3:00pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Janes and Bro. Ronnie Turner the officiating clergy.



She was born August 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Richard and Ollie B. Morgan Akin and the widow of Coolidge Keltner, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1984.

She is survived by the following:
    One brother, Junior Brown, and his wife Marilyn, Milltown, KY
  • Two step-daughters; Libby Beard and husband Cecil, Milltown, KY; and Reta Pruitt and her husband Donnie, Greensburg, KY

  • A sister in law: Frances Akin, Columbia
She attended Picketts Chapel United Methodist Church and had worked at Greenhill Manor in Greensburg as a nurses aid.

Interment will be in Tarters Chapel Cemetery at Milltown.

Visitation will be after 4:30pm CT, Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
