Glydus Bailey celebrates 94th birthday with motorcycle ride

Community invited to repeat performance by 'awesome' mother of Bailey bunch: August 12, 2017
With two photographs

By Jennifer Hardin
Glydus Bailey's granddaughter

My grandmother, Glydus Bailey, who is known by many as "Mamaw," celebrated her 94th birthday on Sunday, August 12th with her family on Taylor Ford Road.

She rode on a motorcycle with her grandson, Eddie Reagan, whom we all thank for returning her safely.

She is the mother of the Bailey Family gospel & bluegrass music/singing bunch.

How many 94-year-olds get to do that?

We think she is awesome and are so happy to share this with the community to show how unique she is!

We would love to say "Happy 94th Birthday, Mamaw!"

She said she wants to dothat again in 10 years when she's 104 . . . and at the rate she's going, she'll probably make it!!
