Letter: Kristopher is back in the U.S.A.

Prayers anwered. He's at Camp Lejeune, NC, now, but will be welcomed home with a celebration at the Roadside Park on August 25, 2007. Six from Kris' battalion made ultimate sacrifice

To all my dear friends -

For anyone who may not have heard me shouting from the rooftops -- Kristopher is back in the U.S.A!!! He arrived at Camp Lejeune, NC. on Thursday, and praise the Lord - he is healthy and happy.

I cannot adequately thank you for all of your acts of kindness during Kris' deployment. So many of you have written to him and/or sent messages of encouragement throughout these months.

You have encouraged - hugged - laughed with - and cried with members of my family and with me and your thoughtfulness has been overwhelming.

Your continued positive thoughts and diligent prayers have meant more to me than mere words could possibly express . . . though it seems woefully inadequate. Thank you!

Please continue the positive thoughts and prayers for all our military personnel and their families and also for the families of the men and women who did not return.

There were six brave warriors from Kris' battalion who made the ultimate sacrifice and their families will never know the joy that I felt this weekend.

To those of you who will be in this area August 25th - we will be having a welcome home celebration for Kris at the Roadside Park on Hwy 55 at 5:00 central time. All family, friends, and well-wishers are invited to attend.

On behalf of Corporal Kristopher Knight - and his mother . . . from the bottom of our hearts, we thanks you!
