ACHS Boys beat 15 other teams to win Metcalfe Golf Tournament

Team total 309; Chaz Giles fires teams best, with 1 over par 73

Adair County High School Boys Golf Team won the Metcalfe County Invitational Golf Tournament at Kentucky Hills Golf Course, near Edmonton, on Saturday, August 8th.

Adair County fired a team total 309, outscoring 15 other teams for the victory.Individual Medallist Chaz Giles fired a 1 over par 73.


Other team members contributing for the team win:
Matt Poff, 75
Jordan Shelton, 80
Charles Breeding, 81
and
Colby Robertson, 86 (taking the lowest 4 scores for the win).
Adair County's second team played well also, with these scores:
Michael Waggener, 86
Van Giles, 88
Adam Poff, 91
Joe Grider 99
and Riley Grant, 95.
The ACHS Golf Team has been working hard preparing for the season.
