Remember: Family of Coach Sampson, Flame, in prayers

"All of the players, coaches and parents are saddened. Elaine was always a big part of the team, keeping stats, encouraging the players and just making sure things got done."

To ColumbiaMagazine.com readers:

Everyone is asked to remember the A/C Flame Softball team in your prayers.

Elaine Sampson, assistant coach of the team from Albany was killed in an auto accident on Thursday morning in Russell County.

All of the players, coaches and parents are saddened. Elaine was always a big part of the team, keeping stats, encouraging the players and just making sure things got done.

Elaine's daughter, Chelsea, is a member of the team. Please remember the Sampson family and the Flame family during this time.
