Jeffrey L. Burton adds to impressive family list of veterans

Two more members of the Burton family have been added to the ColumbiaMagazine.com Adair County veterans' list when we received this note from Jeffrey L. Burton:
"After seeing my youngest brother (David Burton- U.S. Air Force - Retired) and the addition of our Dad (Harlan L. Burton - Korean War Veteran) to the List, I would like to add our uncle, Claude Burton - WWII Army Veteran, served in the Phillipines. I also served in U.S. Air Force active duty - 1975-1980 and KY Air National Guard 1983-1986. Thank You. Sincerely, Jeffrey L. Burton"
Thanks for the additions. They are now added in the Burton family breakout. To see the entire whole list, Click here. Additions and corrections are welcome, as well as stories of Adair County experiences in war. -Ed Waggener
