Letter: A note of support for family of Emily Griffitt Anderson

To Columbia.Magazine.com:

Mike, as you know, I to suffered the loss of a sibling. After 23 years and five months today (August 5, 2007) not a day passes that I don't think of Larry. Some days I cry but, mostly I laugh at a memory I have of him and you know there are many.

Some days are almost unbearable as I loved him with all my heart and miss him terribly. He was my best friend. I like to think he is in a better place and no longer has any worries. Maybe he and Emily are together. If so, I'm sure they are having fun.

My thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to be with you, Dee, and your families. Hopefully the guilty party will be tried and brought to justice. If not I believe that everyone gets theirs in the end and I feel sure the murderer won't spend eternity with Larry and Emily.
