Letter: Thanks to Margaret Carney for stirring up memories

Writer calls former Barnett's Creek neighbor, now living in Texas, from California . . . showing how much 'our little world continues to shrink'
To Editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Thanks to you and to Margaret Carney for stirring up more memories of our Knifley High School days.
I was pleased to see Victoria Martin-Ellis in the class of '47-'48, and was prompted to give her a call in Texas.
Vicky was my next door neighbor at Barnett's Creek, and we had a nice long chat about our "salad days" on the Creek and at KHS.

Vicky was one of the three beautiful Martin girls that we were lucky to have as neighbors. For anyone who may be interested, Vicky has recently retired from teaching in the El Paso, TX school system where she has spent most of her career.
Also included in the picture is one of my many second cousins, Kenneth Sanders, son of Audy Sanders; our common ancestors being Thompson Sanders, II and Susan Caroline Dickerson.
Thanks again for helping to keep us connected and to demonstrate once more how our little world continues to shrink.
Greetings to all from cool and crisp Northern California.

Frank Dickerson
