CWC Kindergarten kick-off was great event Two photos with this article By Patti Jones, Principal Col. Wm. Casey Elementary School started the year off Thursday night, August 2, 2007, with the 2nd Annual Kindergarten Kickoff. A large crowd of new kindergarteners and their families attended. Students were shown around the school, given the chance to meet teachers and friends, and had a blast jumping on the inflatibles. The event was a combined effort of the school, Title I, Camp Casey, Extended School Services and the Family Resource Center. Thanks to all who attended and helped out with the event! Open House at CWC will be Tuesday, August 7, 2007, from 4:00-6:00pm CT. Students in all grades are invited to come and see their new rooms, meet teachers, and visit with friends. School begins on Thursday August 9 for 1st and 2nd graders and on Friday, August 10, 2007,for kindergarteners!! This story was posted on 2007-08-03 09:03:21
