ACRD paving approaches to Short Creek Bridge today Work is now well ahead of schedule; Monday target date to reopen Dunnville Road to through traffic; Spout Springs bridge well underway; District Six roads being graded The Adair County Road Department will be working in the following areas today: District 1: Gaddie Shamrock will be blacktopping the approaches to Short Creek Bridge on the Dunnville Road today, starting at around noon. District 6: An ACRD crew will be working on the construction of the new Sprout Springs Bridge in District 6. District 6: The road department will be grading a few roads off Pelham Branch Road, including Hutchison-Loy among others. District 6: an ACRD crew will be working on the construction of the new Sprout Springs At present, our plans are to have the Short Creek Bridge construction completely done except for a few follow up details. The target date to open the new bridge is Monday, August 6, 2007, three days ahead of Judge Melton's original goal, which was to have the bridge open for school busses on the first day of school, Thurday, August 9, 2007. We will announce exact opening dates shortly. Please drive carefully in these areas.
