Shirley Jones shares West Big Creek School memories

Shirley Jones is sharing a school photo of the students in Grades 1-8 at West Big Creek School in 1948-49.

There are quite a number of well known Adair Countians in the class, including one who was later Adair County sheriff and county judge executive, Jimmy Firquin.



Students in the photo Shirley Dudley Jones sent, in alphabetical order, are: Delbert Cole, Renus (?) Cole, Bobby Compton, Eddie Compton, Harold Compton, Jimmy Compton, Jimmy Firquin, Beulah Froedge, Cecil Froedge, Coy Froedge, Wesley Froedge, Doris Green.

Also, Donnie Jessie, Doris Jessie, Shirley Dudley Jones, Earnistine Munday, Herman Munday H.C. Moore, Ruth Taylor Moss, Billy J. Sneed, Phyllis Sneed, and Dalton Taylor.
