ACRD maintenance work for Friday, July 26, 2007

We are happy to report that work on the Short Creek Bridge is on schedule. Today, the beams were set in the floor of the bridge. Judge Melton feels confident that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the Adair County Road Department will be able to complete the project in time for the start of School on August 9.


Work for Friday includes the following:

District 1, Eunice Pellyton Precinct: The Adair County Road Department will be working on the Short Creek Bridge in District 1 on the Dunnville Road, Friday, July 26, 2007.

District 1, Little Cake Precinct: Cutting brush on the Little Cake Road in and spraying various roads here and other parts of the county.

District 1. Eunice-Pellyton: Construction will also begin tomorrow on the Scott Hill Road, the road will be closed at 6:00am in the morning Friday, July 27, 2007, to thru traffic. It will be re-opened for traffic over the weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 28 and 29, then closed again Monday morning, July 30, 2007 at 6:00am CT, until further notice, to straighten and widen the road.

Please drive carefully in these areas and watch for road workers.
