Driver injured after car strikes tree S. of Columbia this AM Jennifer Brockman, 17, Columbia, KY, was treated and released at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia following a single vehicle accident four miles south of Columbia on KY 55. The driver, who was belted, was traveling south in a 2005 Ford Escape 4D, went off the right shoulder of the road, overrected and struck a tree. The accident occurred at 10:00am CT, Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Trooper Richmond of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY investigated the accident.
