OLDIES BUT GOODIES was sellout at 1:45pm yesterday, but . . . Perfect Record. Third of three performances a sellout! "I never laughed so much in my life," - CM Drama Critic Geniece Marcum. Endorsed Event: Columbia-Adair County Tourism Commission Executive Director Sue Stivers The Dream Depot smash hit, Oldies But Goodies, with a cast of fictional but familiar characters, was a sell-out at 1:45pm yesterday afternoon for tonight's performance at 7:00pm, Saturday, June 30, 2007. But theatre director Elaine Bennett says, "If you want to see Oldies But Goodies, come on down tonight, and get the first available no-show ticket." Sometimes, she says, people book seats and then something happens and they can't make it, and you can get theirs. Even you don't get a seat tonight, you can sign up for the next rendition of the play. Each cast member created their own character and wrote their own script, so you are apt to hear astonishing lines, see some amazing things, like Elaine Bennett in a two-piece swimming suit. This performance is the third sell-out since the play's World Premiere on June 30, 2007. (SOLD OUT) Saturday, July 21, 2007. 7:00pm. For reservations call: (270) 250-4064 or 634-2894. Admission: Adults $6 and children 12 and under $4. The Dream Depot is located just off the Square on Jamestown Street. Entrance is on the Reed Street side. There's plenty of parking just a few feet away from the door. This story was posted on 2007-07-21 10:35:13
