CPD investigates injury accident on Fairgrounds Street On July 18, 2007, at approximately 8:39am, Columbia Police responded to an injury accident on Fairgrounds Street in Columbia. The accident occurred when a 1991 Toyota driven by Jared Segera of Columbia crossed the centerline while traveling East and struck a 2000 Ford Pickup driven by Kenneth Hardin, who was traveling West. Segera was transported by Adair EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital. Kenneth Hardin, along with his passengers, Jennifer, Joshua and Kendyl Hardin were transported by private vehicle to Westlake Regional Hospital and were treated for minor injuries. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. The accident was investigated by Columbia Police Officer Jamie Cole. Columbia Safety & Code Enforcement Officer Bill Bailey assisted with traffic control.
