Emily Griffitt Anderson murder: Jury off until Monday

A Columbian tipped CM that she had received word from Gastonia, NC, that the jurors in the capital murder trial of Jerry Anderson are in recess over the weekend, and won't resume deliberations until Monday morning, July 16, 2007.

A check at the "Murder in Sawmills" had a just posted entry which gave a reporter's personal feelings about the Kentuckians--relatives from Adair and Jessamine Counties from Emily's relatives, and from Cumberland County who are related to Jerry Anderson--who are in Gastonia, NC, waiting another 72 hours before any closure can begin.
