Charlie Alexander, 79, 1158 Carrie Bolin Drive, Columbia, KY, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at his home.

The funeral service will be Friday, July 13, 2007, at 11:00am, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Interment will be in the Murrell Cemetery.



Charlie Alexander, 79, retired farmer (1928-2018)

He was born June 15, 1928. He was the son of the late Richard and Hattie Conover Alexander of Adair County, KY. He died Tuesday, June 10, 2007, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Alexander, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Patricia Alexander, Pam Smith and her husband Dwayne, all of Columbia, KY; and Kathie Keltner and her husband, Troy, Milltown, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: John Doss, Angie and Ann Alexander, Ashley Smith; and Kylan, Kelsie, and Kaleb Keltner

  • Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Alexander was a retired farmer.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
