Burkesville pedestrian killed in early morning accident The Kentucky State Police report that Christopher D. Capps, 32, Burkesville, KY, died of injuries following an accident at 1:36am, Tuesday, July 10, 2007, on KY 1206, six miles east of Burkesville, KY. Capps was pronounced dead at the scene by the Cumberland County Coroner. According to the report, Capps was lying in the roadway in the eastbound lane, when he was struck by an eastbound 1996 Ford Explorer driven by Stacy Wray, 30, Burkesville, KY. Wray was belted and was not injured. Trooper Nathan Cary of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
