Obituaries: Kelly, 34, & Teresa, 33, Gibbons

Motorcycle accident victims will be buried at Tarter's Chapel Cemetery in Adair County

Steve Kelly Gibbons, 34, and his wife, Teresa Michell Gibbons, 33, of Edmonton, KY, died Friday, July 6, 2007, in a motorcycle accident near Edmonton.

Steve Kelly was the son of Dianne and Jimmy Gibson of Edmonton, KY and was employed by J&J Trucking. Teresa Michell was the daughter of Randall and Sherry Coleen Burris of Columbia, KY, and was employed at Carhartt in Edmonton, KY.



Joint funeral services will be held at 11:00am CT, Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, with burial in Tarters Chapel Cemetery in Adair County.


Visitation will be from 2:30pmCT until 8:00pm, Monday, July 9, and after 9:00am CT Tuesday at the funeral home.

Besides his parents, Kelly is survived by a daughter, Makayla Gibbons of Glasgow, and by two sisters and three brothers, Kimberly Parker, Glasgow; Sheila Dickison, Jimmy Ray Gibson, Darrell Gibson, and Kenneth Gibson, all of Edmonton.

Besides her parents, Teresa Michell is survived by her three children, Timothy, Ashley, and Colby Blair, all of Edmonton; one brother, Jeremy Burris, Columbia; and a grandfather, Carl Burris, Columbia; and a grandmother, Nora Bell Burris, Center.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nora Bell Burris, and grandfather, Oscar Robertson.
