Obituaries: Andrew Cawthorn and Dennis Cawthorn Metcalfe father and son die hours apart on same day Andrew Howard Cawthorn and Dennis Cawthorn, father and son, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Andrew Howard Cawthorn was a retired truck driver and husband of Opal Estes Cawthorn of Edmonton, who survives, and was the son and the late Tilford and Corene Cawthorn. Dennis was retired from Tyson Bearning in Glasgow and the son of Opal Cawthorn. Jonint funeral services for Howard and Dennis will be held at 1:00pm CT Sunday, July 9, 2007, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday, June 8, 2007, and after 9:00am Sunday, at the funeral home. Besides their wife and mother, they are also survived by the following:
Andrew Howard is also survived by three sisters, Ocie McConnell of Texas, Evelyn Allen of Virginia and Ruby Hexson, Ohio: One brother, Harle Cawthorn of Indiana; three grandchildren, Daniel Cawthorn, brian Jessie, and Amanda Bragg; and four great granchildren, Hayley, Shelby, and Hannah Bragg, and Ross Jessie.
