Log cabin fire in South Adair County is total loss

Adair County Firemen on scene an hour; cause under investigation

Adair County firemen were called out at 10:13 last night, Thursday, July 5, 2007, to Walnut Grove Road, to a vacant log cabin owned by Alvin Spoon.

Walnut Grove Road is a connector between KY 704 and below Fairplay, KY, and the Chance Community.

The structure was a total loss, and the cause is under investigation.

There were 14 firemen on the scene for one hour
