Adair Democratic Executive Board to plan Fair strategy Party invites prospective District 1 Magistrate candidate Evelyn Phelps, Adair County Democratic Party Chairman, announces that on Tuesday, July 3, 2003, the 18-member board will meet to plan strategy for the Adair County Fair, discuss naming a candidate for Magistrate in the First District, and other party business. The meeting will start at 6:00pm 2007, at the office of office of R.L. Walker at the corner of Burkesville and South Fortune Streets. The Party has a booth rented at the fair, and will be holding a raffle for $250.00 worth of gasoline. The party will also discuss the possibility of fielding a candidate for a District 1 (Eunice-Pellyton, Little Cake and White Oak) Magistrate to replace Roger Stephens, who resigned. "I've already had one name mentioned," she said. "They can call me at (270) 384-2574 at home or at (270) 384-2291, or come to the meeting." Besides Chairman Phelps, the Adair County Democratic Party Executive Committee includes Vice Chairman Nolen Cole, Treasurer Vickie Pike, Secretary Yvonne Arnold, and members Carl Arnold, Richard Lee Walker, Joe Flowers, Charles Humphress, Chris Marauth, J.M.
