Pastor Johnson will get sandwiched on a bed of nails

Columbia Baptist pastor Randy Johnson to take part in Strength Team performance Wednesday night. Strength Team at ACHS gym Tuesday, June 26, and Wednesday, June 27, 2007.

Mike Hagen's Strength Team, a group of world class athletes who perform amazing feats of strength, will be at the Adair County High School gym this evening, Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 7pm CT, and again on Wednesday night, June 27, at 7pm CT. Admission is free.

On Wednesday, when most other Adair County pastors are holding comparatively sedate prayer meetings, Pastor Randy Johnson of the Columbia Baptist Church is going to be sandwiched between a bed of nails. "They claim I will be the "wholiest" pastor in Columbia!" Pastor Johnson said.

The Strength team break things with their forearms and heads, and rip through big phone books with their bare hands.

The Strength Team is sponsored by the Columbia Baptist Church. The events are coordinated with the church's Vacation Bible School, in session this week from 9am-noon CT each day.
