L.E.A.D. Adair announces 2008 leadership class opportunities On-line printable application link below By Ellen Zornes We are excited to announce that L.E.A.D. Adair County is now accepting applicants for the 2008 Leadership class. The 2008 class marks the fourth Adair County class to participate in leadership training. Leadership training is for everyone; the only qualification is being concerned about your county and willing to work to make it better. Though leadership is important to all ages, this program is designed for adults 18 years and older. This year's program will feature an expanded curriculum, a more in-depth look at leadership styles as well as intensive leadership and team building training. A format designed to bring out the best in your employee(s), organization member(s) or yourselfall in all, a great investment in your organization's future. The cost of the program is $300.00 per person and will include a late August weekend or evenings orientation and an overnight weekend retreat Friday afternoon through Saturday evening September 14-15. The retreat date is susceptible to change and the location of the retreat will be announced at a later time. The program will also include involvement in community projects and a monthly program session(s) September-April. Each session will be held from 12 Noon to 5pm CT.. During the month of October, two sessions are necessary to complete the requirements of the program. Announcements will be made on ColumbiaMagazine.com, or listen for L.E.A.D.
