Feedback: Larry Smith story brought back memories

To the editor, CM

My grandsons, Hunter and Kodie Gadberry, and I enjoyed this story and picture very much.

A special thank you goes out to Larry Smith of WHVE 92.7 and your Staff for printing this.

I was a little girl when Green River Lake was being constructed. My parents would take me and my two sisters to this area often.

I had taken Hunter and Kodie, over by the Dam, this past Saturday afternoon. It still is a beautiful sight to see. These two little boys really enjoyed their visit. We plan on going back soon.

We didn't get to take any pictures, so the one on here will be printed out and put in my grandsons' scrapbook.

Our Burton Family Reunion, is held the last Saturday in July, every year at Holmes Bend. We are thankful to have such a beautiful place to enjoy and be with our family.

Again, thanks for the story and picture.
