Ban on Open Burning, Effective Immediately Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton has signed an Executive Order declaring a ban on open burning in Adair County, effective immediately. No person shall light or maintain an open fire at any location in Adair County while this ban is in effect. Any person violating this ban shall be subject to fines and penalties.
