She was pleased with the experience. "I met some wonderful women, learned a lot, and I had a lot of fun." Tarrah said following the pageant.

A number of businesses and groups supported her in the competition, and she sends word of her appreciation. "I would like to thank all of the people who called me to wish me good luck," she said, adding, "It meant a lot to know that people were thinking of me" she said.

Among those supporting her trip to Louisville were the following: RBS Design Group, Russell County Hospital, Salon 2, Danny's Collision Repair, Dial Realty, the Green County Fair Board, and Friends and Family. "They made the trip possible," she said.
