Tarrah Dean competes at Mrs. Kentucky Pageant Tarrah Dean of Columbia, KY, competed, Saturday, June 9, in the 2007 Mrs. Kentucky Pageant, at the Bomhard Theater in the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville, KY. She had qualified for the state pageant after winning the title of Mrs. Green County Fair in June of 2006, which was Tarrah's first venture as a pageant participant since she was ayoung girl. The winner of this years pageant was Dr. Denise Yates of Louisville. Dr. Yates placed 3rd in the pageant last year. Tarrah was the winner in the eyes of her Green and Adair County supporters, who thought she did a wonderful time representing both the fair and the Columbia and Adair County community. She was pleased with the experience. "I met some wonderful women, learned a lot, and I had a lot of fun." Tarrah said following the pageant. A number of businesses and groups supported her in the competition, and she sends word of her appreciation. "I would like to thank all of the people who called me to wish me good luck," she said, adding, "It meant a lot to know that people were thinking of me" she said. Among those supporting her trip to Louisville were the following: RBS Design Group, Russell County Hospital, Salon 2, Danny's Collision Repair, Dial Realty, the Green County Fair Board, and Friends and Family.
