Word comes of the death of Billy Phillips Updated at 8:00pm, Monday, June 4, 2007 The sad news of the death of Columbia painting contractor Billy Phillips has reached us. Mr. Phillips died at 2:39pm CT, today, Monday, June 4, 2007. Mr. Phillips was in the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Lexington, KY at the time of his death.He had been airlifted to Lexington following severe injuries sustained Friday, June 1, 2007. The family has chosen Stotts, Phelps, McQueary Funeral to provide funeral arrangments. The plans may be made public as early as Tuesday or Wednesday. Details will be announced as soon as they are received. We encourage readers to share remembrances of Mr. Phillips and to send prayer thoughts for the family.
