Columbia City Council Meeting Agenda, June 4, 2007

Regular June Meeting will consider approval three zoning items. City growth continues with first readings for two annexations on South KY 55, second reading and vote on Bank District, North 55. Zone change for 502 Rice Drive expected to be approved. 2007-08 Budget will get first reading. Nothing in published agenda on progress on Green Hills annexation and Parrott Avenue Annexations, but this could come in Mayor announcements

  1. Approve minutes of May 7, 2007, meeting. (Vote)

  2. Citizen Comments

  3. City Attorney give 2nd reading to ordinance No. 110.28 (Bank District Annexation):
    Ordinance No. 110.28. An ordinance to enlarge the corporate lands of the City of Columbia, KY.
    (Vote)

  4. City Attorney read letter of recommendation from Planning & Zoning Commission recommending a zone change for 502 Rice Drive from R-1 Residential to R-2 Residential. (Vote)

  5. ___________________Introduce Ordinance No. 920.82 for 1st reading as follows:
    Ordinance No. 920.82. An ordinance amending the Columbia Zoning regulations and Columbia Official Zoning Districts Map (502 Rice Drive).
    City Attorney give 1st reading of Ordinance No. 920.82 (No vote required)

  6. City Attorney read letter of recommendation from Planning & Zoning Commission recommending the Zoning of proposed annexed property at 1520 South Highway 55 Owned by the A.D. Bennett (Heirs) who requested to be annexed into the City Limits. Zone to be C-2 Highway Commercial. (Vote)

  7. ___________________Introduce Ordinance No. 920.83 for 1st reading as follows:
    Ordinance No. 920.83. An ordinance amending the Columbia Zoning Regulations and Columbia Official Zoning Districts Map (1520 South Highway 55).
    City Attorney give 1st reading of Ordinance No. 920.83 (No vote required)

  8. City Attorney read letter of recommendation from Planning & Zoning commission recommending the zoning of proposed annexed property at 1620 South Highway 55 owned by the Charles Cruse (heirs) who requested to be annexed into the City Limits. Zone to be C-2 Highway Commercial. (Vote)

  9. ___________________Introduce Ordinance No. 920.84 for 1st reading as follows:
    Ordinance No. 920.84. An ordinance amending the Columbia Zoning Regulations and Columbia Official Zoning Districts Map (1620 South Highway 55).
    City Attorney give 1st reading of Ordinance No. 920.84 (No vote required)

  10. Review FY 2007-2008 Proposed Budget

  11. ___________________Introduce Ordinance No. 220.139 for 1st reading as follows:
    Ordinance No. 220.139. An ordinance adopting the City of Columbia Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year (07/01/07) through (06/30/08), by estimating revenues and resources and appropriating funds for the operation of City Government.
    City Attorney give 1st reading of ordinanace No. 220.139. (No vote required)
