Adair Countians reminded that Gov. Fletcher ACES Tuesday A big reminder: Governor Ernie Fletcher will visit Columbia tomorrow, Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 10:45amCT/11:45amET and participate in groundbreaking ceremonies for the Columbia bypass project. The $25 million dollar investment is a key component of improving the transportation network in Columbia and Adair County. The bypass is also part the the Governors planned Heartland Parkway corridor which will connect the Cumberland and Bluegrass Parkways. The event will take place at 10:45 local time at the Adair County Elementary School on Indian Drive. The public is invited to attend.Community leaders Judge Ann Melton, Mayor Pat Bell, and Chamber Executive Director Sue Stivers are making a special effort to get as large a crowd out as possible to show Governor Fletcher Adair County appreciates his efforts to make this dream a reality.
