By Emily Harlan, LWC staff writer

A total of 25 Adair County residents earned degrees from Lindsey Wilson College. The residents were among 182 graduates who participated in the colleges 85th commencement ceremony, held Saturday, May 12, in the colleges Biggers Sports Center.

In his commencement address, Lindsey Wilson Provost and Dean of Faculty William Julian told the graduates they were to come down off your mountain and make a difference in todays uncertain world.

Graduates, your faculty know you will live in a future world they cannot know, but they know you will have to come down off your mountain. And so at Lindsey Wilson College and at colleges and universities all over this country, we will send you down the mountain hoping that we have taught you enough for you to land on your feet, Julian said.
