Letter: Story, picture make former resident want to come home

Thanks to Gordon Crump and Joe Hare:

Thank you, Joe Hare for the evening picture of Columbia from Lindsey Hill. Your picture and Gordon Crump's beautiful tribute to Columbia have been forwarded to my Christmas in July email list. Believe me when I tell you that this groupcontains many who will appreciate your work.

You can confirm this by checking with my siblings -- Jean Cravens of Indianapolis; Fay Waggener McKinley, Ed Waggener and RalphWaggener all ofColumbia; or almost-sibling Hilda Willis Jenkins of Bowling Green.

Most important is the fact that, even though many of us haved moved away from Columbia, our hearts still reside in Adair County . . . whichleads me to another thought -- Wouldn't your photo look great in the Governor's Office or Mansion after we elect Jody Richards as the Governor of KY?

Enough of my wandering thoughts! I just wanted to express appreciation for your photo and let you know that when I forwarded the page, I had to addthe comment - "Makes me Wanna Go Home!"
