10am CT: First National will host Golf Scramble
The First National Bank of Columbia will be hosting a Golf Scramble on April 28, 2007 at Pinewood Country Club. All proceeds will go to the Relay For Life fund. Registration will begin at 10:00am CT and tee off is at noon. Many prizes will be given away including a $10,000.00 cash prize for a hole in one. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Brock or Stacy Popplewell at (270) 384-2361.

4pm CT: Fish Fry at Higher Praise
Higher Praise Church, 3515 W. KY Hwy 80, Russell Springs, KY will be having a fish fry and auction on Saturday, April 28, 2007. The fish fry will start at 4:00 pm, and will include a fish plate, dessert and drink. Cost will be $6.00. The auction will start at 5:00 pm, with merchandise and certificates being donated by area businesses. Proceeds from this event will benefit Higher Grounds Youth Center building fund. 4pm CT: Gospel singing, dinner at New Life
New Life for the Nations will be having a fish, chicken, and steakdinner fund raiser with gospel music on Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 4:00to 7:00pm CT. Proceeds will go toward helping the New LIfe Praise Teamgo to AEGA World Conference in Monroe, LA in June. All you can eat fresh catfish and chicken dinners will be available at $7.00,including meat, coleslaw, green geans, baked beans, rolls, desserts, drink.An exta: 25 steak dinners with baked potato will be available on a first come, first servedbasis for $10:00 each.
