Parks & Recreation Board announces logo contest

Winner gets $50, a plaque, and a summer of free swimming

The Columbia Parks & Recreation Board is working on a long term project to include a full park system to benefit and serve the residents of Columbia and Adair County.

This contest is open to the public, but limited to residents of Adair County.

The winner will receive $50.00, a plaque, and a summer pass to the Columbia pool.



All entries will become the property of the Columbia Parks and Recreation Board.

The winning logo may be used to represent Parks and Recreation.

When designing a logo, please keep in mind that in the near future, this logo may represent both the city and the county.

You may wish to submit two entries, one to represent the Columbia Parks and Recreation Board, and one to represent a City/County Parks and Recreation Board.

Entries may be left at Grimsleys Jewelry or Thomas Photography and must be submitted no later than Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Please include the following information with your entry: name, address, and phone number.
