COF SAYS: Campbellsville rainbow ended behind Baker's

To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Miz Emily and I watched the same awesome spectacle but from our vantage point here at Dun Roman on a ridge high above Knifley, it was obvious that the right leg ended just behind Daryl and Gayla's back door.

Probably should have told them but then they might have found that "pot o' gold" and we can't afford to lose another country store. Like most of the ole geezers in this area, I still haven't got over Keith boarding up Tuckers!

The COF
Kinder, gentler, but still crusty high on the ridgetop over downtown Knifley, KY
Thanks, COF: You're right. Nobody could microwave a hamburger better'n Keith Livermore. They tasted even better when he provided the provenance: That the beef was from an elk hunt in Montana. Not taking anything away from Bakers' or the Crossroads, either. They cook (and slice) good, too. It's a known fact that good cooks abound in Knifley. Can't think a better place for elves to leave their gold. Let me know how much there was when y'all count it up. But, I'm still remorsing over Tucker's closing, too. -Ed. PS-Is there any word yet on the restaurant over at the schoolhouse?
