Injury accident occurs Thursday afternoon at US68/Hwy 744

An injury accident occurred five miles east of Campbellsville at the junction of US 68 and Hwy 744, at 5:02pm, Thursday, April 19, 2007.

Jonathan McElroy, 20, Campbellsville, was operating a 1990 Chevrolet pickup westbound on KY 744, and pulled from the intersection and collided with a 2008 Chrysler westbound on US 68 operated by Michael Glasscock, 37, Parksville, KY.

Neither McElroy nor a passenger, Kevin N. Johns, 20, Campbellsville, were injured. Michael Glasscock and a passenger, Katie Belcher, 11, Parksville, were treated and released at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

All occupants in the accident were belted.

Trooper Fred Cornett of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
