Head-on collision in curve near Fredericksburg

One pasenger was treated and released following a collision with five persons involved on Croak Station Road, Fredericksburg, KY, today, Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at 10:30am.

Tammy Williams, 36, Bardstown, KY, was traveling north on Croak Station Road in a 2005 Malibu. The vehicle entered curve, stopped for traffic, and was struck head-on by a 1993 Ford F-150, driven southbound by Roger Curtsinger, 54, Springfield, KY.

Neither Curtsinger nor a passenger in his vehicle, Helen Curtsinger, 59, Springfield, KY, were belted. Helen Curtsinger was treated and released at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown. Roger Curtsinger was not injured.

Tammy Williams was belted and not injured. Joseph Young, 55, Bardstown, KY, was belted and not injured. An infant passenger, Rozlyn Young, 3, was in a car seat and not injured.

Trooper Donnie Moses of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
