Driver hospitalized after vehicle strikes tree An injury accident occurred at 1:51pm, today, Friday, April 6, 2007, one-half mile north of St. Francis on KY 527. Brandon L. Douglas, 18, Bardstown, KY, was northbound on KY 527 in a 1997 Saturn. The vehicle entered a curve, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Douglas was transported to Flaget Hospital in Bardstown. The accident was investigated by Trooper John Boyd of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
